preparing a place

This afternoon, plan to get out my laptop and relocate it on the dinning room table, to get rolling again on what I hope is a final revision of House of Cuts. Need to sort through various versions and throw away some of them, so as to have a cleaner and sparer "workroom." Wonder how other writers manage their space?
